Chris Lu - A Leader's Journey: Perseverance and Public Service

Event Description
Morris Dailey Event for all students, staff, & faculty focusing on student leaders.  

Chris Lu will share his journey from a senior news editor at Princeton University to Harvard Law School and then on to the White House, serving as Cabinet Secretary (2009-2013) to the President.  While working for President Obama, he was well known for getting things done.  As the son of immigrant parents, Chris can relate to some of the unique characteristics of the SJSU student body.   The goal of his visit is to motivate and encourage the importance of leadership, teamwork, and perseverance to SJSU students.
