Event Description:
Please join featured presenter, Dr. Sang Hea Kil, Associate Professor in our own Justice Studies department, for an informal discussion of her recent work on the criminalization of immigrants through news media discourse.  Her research illuminates how subtle forms of discursive racism suggest that immigrants are negative abstractions out to hurt the body politic.   Bring your lunch - we will provide coffee and tea.
