Adding Captioning to Make Your Videos Accessible

Event Description:

Do you create or use videos in your teaching or in your presentation? What is the
difference between captions and transcripts? By adding captions you will be able to
reach out to more students such as those with hearing impairment or those whose primary language is not English. In addition, captions enable students to view your video in a large or noisy environment and enhance learning experience by providing content information in multiple sensory modality.  

In this session, we will discuss how to use YouTube and other tools to add or edit captions to make your videos accessible. To take a full advantage of the session, you need to have an SJSUOne account.
