Do you have interest in convincing others of your opinion on a current issue?
Learn how to do so more effectively at this special workshop offered by Dr. Todd Nesbit. In this workshop, Dr. Nesbit will cover the fine art of writing an op-ed for a print or online
publication. In addition, he will cover how to:
• structure your argument
• create your 'hook'
• time your submission
• format for the specific publication
• earn $150 for publishing an Op-Ed in the Spartan Daily

Todd M. Nesbit, Ph.D. Todd Nesbit is an assistant professor of economics at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, and is on the Board of Scholars at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at West Virginia University in 2005. Much of Dr. Nesbit's academic research is centered on the secondary and unintended effects of excise taxation, although he has also published on topics related to the economics of sports.
