Event Description:
East L.A. Interchange tells the story of working-class, immigrant Boyle Heights, the oldest neighborhood in East Los Angeles and how it has survived discriminatory housing covenants, Japanese-American internment, redlining policies, the building of the largest freeway interchange system in the nation, and the current forces of gentrification.

Please join us for a screening of this award-winning documentary film followed by a discussion with the director, Betsy Kalin.
