Start Date: 11/3/2017Start Time: 9:30 AM
End Date: 11/3/2017End Time: 1:00 PM
Event Description:
As part of our “Engaging for Success” series, the Center for Faculty Development is delighted to invite you to join us ... as we sponsor an interactive workshop led by Dr. Manju Banerjee, Vice President of Educational Research and Innovation at Landmark College. Dr. Banerjee has over 29 years of experience in the field of ADHD, learning disabilities, and postsecondary education. She specializes in assisting faculty & staff to recognize the needs of students with atypical and wide-ranging learning profiles, and to craft the supports and approaches they offer accordingly. Participants in this workshop are bound to emerge with a wealth of cutting-edge information and techniques that will enhance their ability to reach and teach the students with whom they work!

Perspectives on inclusive instruction are rapidly changing, as they are informed by new understanding of neurodiversity, and by technology penetration in education. Participants in this workshop will gain a deeper and more nuanced understanding of diverse learners, and they will explore the principles of Universal Design as a powerful tool for classroom design & teaching practices within a variety of content areas.
