Event Description: The "Taiwanese Fine Arts in Bay Area" art show features oil paintings, watercolors, pen and ink drawings, photographs, and ceramics of 7 Bay Area Taiwanese artists.
This is part of celebration for the Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage month, which marks the 40th anniversary this year. President Carter signed into law in October 1978 but it was only for the first week in May. In 1990, this proclamation was expanded to one month and passed by the congress and signed by President Bush.
