The African-American/Black Student Success Center’s primary mission is retaining, empowering, and successfully graduating African-American/Black students at SJSU. Our programs and services will include proven strategies for academic success and data based assessment specifically designed to meet the needs of our students. We work with faculty, staff, administration, alumni and community stakeholders to foster academic achievement, pre-professional development, student leadership and cultural awareness.
