Dudley Moorhead Hall (DMH) houses several schools, departments, and programs of the College of Social Sciences and - on the southern wing of the building - the Richard B. Lewis Instructional Resources Center (IRC) features recording studios and Information Technology's (IT) Academic Technology Equipment Loaning program available to all SJSU students and employees. Dudley Moorhead (1913-1972) was a World War II veteran, professor, and dean of the Humanities and Arts from 1957 to his passing in 1972. Moorhead chaired SJSU's Faculty Council, a precursor of the Academic Senate.
