The Living  written by Anthony Clarvoe

Directed by Johnny Moreno.

The virus is raging across the city claiming 100,000 lives. No one knows where it came from. There is no vaccine. No way to stop it. The impulse to retreat, conceal and draw back is predominant, and yet individuals stand together to help those in need as the epidemic rages around them.

The Living is a contemporary play by award winning Bay Area Playwright Anthony Clarvoe about the “The Great Plague” in 1665 that ravished London, England. It is a celebration of humanity that reaches back in time to us today with breathtaking immediacy. The Living is not about death. This riveting drama is a confirmation of life.

The Living will be livestreamed from the Hammer Theatre without a live audience on Nov. 21.
