About this Event
Turn the documents notes, links and other resources you already use into an AI-powered knowledge base. In this AdoptAI Drop-In, explore how Gemini Notebook can help you work with your own source materials to find information, summarize content, make connections, and get more value from the documents that support your daily work. Learn how to get fast, source-grounded answers that reduce the risk of AI hallucinations by keeping responses anchored in the materials you provide.
Then, put it into practice. Bring your laptop and a document, set of notes, or other work-related materials you can safely use during the session. You’ll have time to experiment, ask questions, compare approaches with colleagues, and explore ways this tool could support your own workflows.
Want to take it a step further? Come ready to participate in our October AI Time-Saver Challenge. Choose a task that normally takes at least 15 minutes, use AI to help you complete it faster, and bring your example to the session. Be ready to share the task, how long it usually takes, the prompt you used, and the result. Examples could include turning notes into action items, comparing documents, drafting content, building a project plan, generating spreadsheet formulas, or developing discussion questions. Participants will be considered for a prize.
Join us Thursday, October 8, from 1:30–2:30 p.m. in ISB 878. AdoptAI Drop-Ins are in-person, staff-focused working sessions designed around practical AI use cases, hands-on learning, and ideas you can take back to your desk and use right away. No RSVP required.
