Dr. Lezlee Matthews, SJSU Student Affairs’ Director of Co-Curricular Learning, Educational Equity and Assessment, asks us to consider: How can we better design assessments to realize SJSU’s commitment to be an inclusive, welcoming, and well-balanced community? This workshop will discuss current challenges and possible solutions to designing assessments that embrace accessibility, belonging, inclusion, diversity, equity, and justice (ABIDE by Justice), and participants will be provided with relevant resources.
