Join SJSU King Library’s AAACNA Studies Center in celebrating Silicon Valley Pride, with a live performance of San José’s first LGBTQ+ folclorico dance group Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí. 

Established in November of 2015, Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí (EFC) is a Mexican folklore dance group. Under the artistic directorship of Arturo Magaña, EFC has the mission to promote the pride of identifying as LGBTQ+ Latinx through the art of Mexican Folclórico dance. Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí provides the LGBTQ+ Community a creative platform to express Latinx sexual and cultural identity.

Visit the exhibit in AAACNA Studies Center (5th floor) on display until September 24, 2023.
