What happens when the San Francisco Bay Area is viewed as a crossroads of AfroAsian exchange?
Join us for the unveiling of the Blasian Bay Archive + Digital Mapping Project—a year-long, student-led archive situating the region as a historic hub for Black and Asian communal mixing. The project maps the visual culture and specific sites where these AfroAsian exchanges have flourished, yielding profound aesthetic and political possibilities.
Event is sponsored through an Artistic Excellence in Programming Grant through the College of Humanities and Arts.
