The School of Journalism and Mass Communications will host a cartooning workshop in celebration of Ann Telnaes, the recipient of the 2025 William Randolph Hearst Award. Telnaes will lead the workshop and the event will take place the day before the official award ceremony. The workshop is open to the public, but is primarily intended for studnets. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Ann Telnaes, a two-time Pulitzer Prize–winning editorial cartoonist, and explore the power of visual storytelling in journalism.
