Once you’ve decided that graduate school would be a good choice for you, a whole new set of questions arise.  Perhaps one of the first ones is: how do you decide which program is right for you? What is the difference between a master’s and a doctoral degree? Which discipline do you want to enter? What school would you like to attend? Should you stay at SJSU for graduate school? This session will examine the variety of graduate school programs available and provide you with some points to ponder as you consider the right place for you.

Panelists:

-Elizabeth Mullen, PhD. - Management (University of Illinois at Chicago)

-A.J. Faas, PhD. - Anthropology (University of South Florida)

-Rebeca Burciaga, PhD. - Educational Leadership (UCLA)

This workshop is part of the Fall 2020 Going to Graduate School workshop series, a collaboration between the SJSU College of Graduate Studies, Peer Connections, and the McNair Scholars Program. Contact Deanna.Peck@sjsu.edu with any questions.
