Congress continues to explore law changes on many aspects of digital assets including promotion and regulation of stablecoins, staking, mining, and more. This webinar provides an update of digital asset tax matters since the SJSU January 2025 Blockchain Tax Conference, digital asset proposals of the 119th Congress, and getting ready for client receipt of Forms 1099-DA in early 2026. Tax reporting for acquisition of stablecoins using digital assets, and due diligence actions will be covered. A preview of the January 30, 2026 Blockchain Tax Conference will be provided.
