  • The SJSU Career Center, University Personnel and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library are partnering to bring a three-part series of Adobe workshops for staff and faculty throughout Fall 2025. SJSU faculty and staff are invited to join this free professional development opportunity. Lunch will be provided for those who register via CSULearn before the respective RSVP deadlines. Registration is only through CSULearn which will require SJSU single sign-on.

 

Session One: An Overview of AI Productivity Resources and Tools at SJSU 

Thursday October 16 from 12 to 1 p.m.
This session will teach you how to streamline collaboration and boost productivity by using campus resources for digital tools and artificial intelligence. Lunch will be provided. Register through CSU Learn by October 10, 2025.

 

Session Two: Digital Humanities: Getting Creative with Digital Literacy

Thursday, November 6 from 12 to 1 p.m.

This workshop is designed for staff and faculty interested in exploring how digital humanities can spark creativity and enrich teaching, research, and collaboration. Through hands-on activities, you’ll experiment with a range of campus-supported digital tools and resources by discovering new ways to analyze, visualize, and share knowledge. Whether you are brand new to digital humanities or looking to expand your toolkit, this session is a chance to learn by doing and connect with colleagues who are also exploring innovative approaches to digital literacy. Register through CSU Learn by October 30, 2025.

 

Session Three: Adobe Firefly - AI Images, Graphics, and Videos

Thursday, November 16 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Discover how SJSU leverages Adobe Firefly, a commercially safe generative AI tool, to produce captivating stock images and effectively visualize concepts for presentations, research, and teaching. This session, designed for higher education staff and faculty, will explore the integration of Firefly into course design to develop innovative assignments, enhance visual communication, and foster creativity through the creation of your own AI-generated images. Register through CSU Learn register by November 6, 2025.
