Have you always wanted to go to Japan? Are you interested in learning about different cultures? During this 13-day program top Japan in June 2026, you will have a rare opportunity to learn the insider perspectives of Zainichi Koreans—Koreans in Japan—in Osaka and Kyoto, and delve into the lives of the Ainu—the indigenous people of Hokkaido—in the present-day Japan, as well as immerse yourself in the family life of a Japanese host family. By listening to personal stories of people firsthand, engaging in discussions with them, visiting museums and participating in cultural workshops, you will be able to appreciate their cultures, spiritual world, challenges, and prospects for the future. Join faculty leader Midori Ishida to learn more about this exciting program! Check out the program brochure in the Spartans Abroad Portal for more details.
