As you get your classes set for the fall semester, we at the Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation invite you to participate in our full-day Course Prep Marathon on Thursday, August 15. This is an online event. The day will be structured as follows:

• 9:00 - 9:15 a.m. Welcome from the Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation
• 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Canvas Workshop with UDL Focus
• 10:15 - 10:30 a.m. Leganto
• 10:30 -11:00 a.m. SJSU Official Syllabus
• 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Media Workshop
• 11:30 - 12:00 p.m. Grading for Equity
• 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Faculty and Staff Presentation - Matt Evans, Physics Professor at The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with 20 years of experience using iClicker, will share pedagogical tips and examples when incorporating a student response system into the curriculum. Klaus Trilck, SJSU Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation instructional designer, will discuss custom resources available for SJSU faculty.
