Generative AI (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.) has dominated the discourse around education now for a year and a half.
In that time, how have writing teachers adapted to its use? What are we doing well, right here at SJSU, to incorporate (or not) generative AI into class discussions and assignments?
Come listen to four esteemed colleagues, teachers of writing or writing-intensive courses, describe their experiences—successes and failures.
Get useful tips and information on practices and techniques to use in your own classes. And join the discussion around ethical issues on AI and education.
Breakfast and lunch are included. (As this is a highly discussion-based event, it will be in-person only.
If you have any questions, please contact stefan.frazier@sjsu.edu. Participation is limited to 30, so register soon!
