The GIS & Drone Society invites you to attend a talk about blending open-source GIS tools like QGIS with the creation of fantasy settings for tabletop role playing games (TTRPGs)!

Pietro Calogero is a lecturer in the School of Planning, Policy, and Environmental Students. He was first introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in 1980. He worked with GIS as it evolved in the 1990s, and uses open-source QGIS both for professional work and for making maps for tabletop role-playing games. Pietro will present and critique his working file of a fantasy setting, showing how it can be developed and presented in free, open-source, digital mapping software.

Thursday, 4/23 | 6 - 6:30 PM | WSQ 115
