Have you ever wondered whether people in other cultures have different personalities than you and your friends? What impact does traveling, living abroad and having multicultural experiences have on how we behave, think, and feel--in other words, on our personalities? If you have or want to find out, then this course is for you. During this program, you’ll take the concept of the psychology of personality---traits, motives, drives, values--and apply them to a cultural context in one of the most beautiful places on earth--the western central coast of Italy (Ischia, Naples, Procida, Pompeii, Amalfi). Through tours of key historical and cultural sites, engaging with local communities and businesses, cooking classes and more, you’ll explore the unique facets of Italian culture and reflect on the role of culture in shaping human personality. Join faculty leader Dr. Gregory Feist to learn more about this exciting program! Check out the program brochure in the Spartans Abroad Portal for more details.
