Experience a powerful documentary about the work and legacy of John Burris, known as the Godfather of Police Litigation. As attorney for Rodney King (1991), Oscar Grant (2009), Mario Woods (2015), and Celeste Guap (2016), Burris litigates pivotal cases that inspire groups and empower individuals to stand up to systemic racism.

Screening will be followed by a Q+A with Burris and film director Doug Harris moderated by SJSU’s Project Rebound Program Director Rudy Howell.
