About this Event
150 E San Fernando St, San Jose, CA 95112
https://longstoryshortsjsu.com/Join us at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in Rm 225 from 5-6pm for our 2-Minute Plays Workshop! This event is apart of our Long Story Short series that explores the art of brevity across literature, theater, visual art, and film!
Led by Graduate Assistant Noëlle GM Gibbs, this workshop will equip participants with the skills to produce their own mini-plays which may be featured in a short forms festival in April!
Want to learn more? Stop by our table on 7th Paseo Plaza on Thursday, February 12th between 12pm-2pm! We’ll be handing out postcards with a short writing prompt as an invitation to compose a haiku or six-word story to send home. This simple yet meaningful exchange transforms a traditional poetic form into a moment of connection, reflecting on themes of home, memory, and community.
Supported by the College of Humanities & the Arts’ Artistic Excellence Programming Grant.
