Miguel Monroy’s work dissembles the meaning of objects and systems in daily life through the fields of video, photography and sculpture. He earned his MFA in Art Practice from Stanford University in 2020 and attended the Certification in Photography and New Media in Centro de la Imágen in 2001.  His work has been shown in galleries and cultural spaces in Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, United States, and Belgium among others. He is currently a full time faculty member of the Art Department at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
