Event Description:

Experience an electrifying hour of live drumming, music, dance, and interactive rhythm at Music at Noon with Prof. Eros, Esther Young & Kuumba! Hosted by SJSU Events & Programs, this performance will bring the Student Union West Patio to life with powerful beats, high-energy movement, and deep cultural storytelling.

🔥 Featured Activities Include:
✅ "Beat the Drummer Challenge" – Test your speed against Prof. Eros or Elhadji!
✅ Live Music, African Drumming & Dance – Featuring Prof. Eros, Esther Young, & Kuumba
✅ Call-and-Response Engagement – Clap, stomp, and groove along with the performers
✅ Storytelling Through Rhythm – Experience the cultural and emotional depth of drumming

Following Music at Noon, stay for the Drum Clinic from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, supported by the College of Humanities & the Arts’ Artistic Excellence Programming Grant.
