 rience Texturescape\, the sixth exhibition presented in the Hammer2 Galler
 y\, on view from July 18 through November 4\, 2026.\n\nThe Hammer2 Gallery
  features a continuously rotating display of artwork by local artists and 
 San José State University alumni. Curated by the Natalie and James Thomps
 on Art Gallery\, Texturescape brings together the work of nine artists: Ir
 man Arcibal\, Jen Clarke\, Nikhil Dev\, Leila Ensaniat\, Michelle Frey\, L
 isa Heikka-Huber\, Dee Mostofi\, Craig Scoffone and Meghna Sharma.\n\nWork
 ing across a variety of media\, the artists invite viewers into a rich tex
 turescape of color\, pattern\, and thought. Through diverse artistic appro
 aches and materials\, the exhibition explores how texture can shape percep
 tion\, memory\, and connection.\n\nThe Hammer2 Gallery represents an ongoi
 ng partnership between the Hammer Theatre Center and the San José State U
 niversity Natalie and James Thompson Art Gallery. As the sixth exhibition 
 presented in the space\, Texturescape continues the gallery’s mission of
  showcasing local artists and SJSU alumni while creating new opportunities
  for audiences to engage with visual arts in a performing arts venue.\n\n

 \n\nAlso happening that evening:Plant Bingo begins in the Hammer lobby at 
 6 p.m. Texturescape reception guests may choose to participate on-site for
  a reduced rate of $10 per bingo card.\n\n \n\nWHAT:\nTexturescape\, the s
 ixth exhibition in the Hammer2 Gallery\, featuring work by nine local arti
 sts and San José State University alumni. Public reception includes oppor
 tunities to meet artists and view artwork in a relaxed community setting.\

 ed on the Paseo de San Antonio between 2nd and 3rd streets in downtown San

  located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the theatre and is accessible via ele
