The 2024 SJSU EMTI will provide PK-Grade 2 in-service mathematics teachers with the opportunity to deeply dive into the revised 2023 California Math Framework. Teachers will have opportunities to: (a) deepen their math content knowledge and instructional practices in community, (b) pay explicit attention to equity and justice throughout the institute, (c) assess their classroom practices in mathematics through critical reflection & (d) consider how to incorporate data science and AI in their practice.
