Join us on Tuesday, May 13 for an evening celebrating the vibrant creative community of San José State University, with back-to-back programs at two of downtown San José’s leading contemporary art spaces. 

The night begins at the ICA San José (doors at 5:00 PM) with a special artist walkthrough of Who 'Am' I Without You? from 5:30–6:30 PM, featuring MFA candidates from SJSU’s Art and Art History program. 

The celebration continues just down the street at MACLA from 6:30–7:30 PM with LATINX ART NOW, highlighting work by SJSU faculty, alumni, and students in a dynamic survey of contemporary Latinx art. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the depth and diversity of SJSU’s creative community.

Meet the artists, hear directly about their work and process, and get an early look at the Lift Off catalogue—an annual collaborative publication showcasing the voices and visions of SJSU’s graduating class.
