In April 2026, Spartan Safe 101 provides two training opportunities. One on Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness, helping students understand the resources available to keep them safe. Participants will learn how to use the Spartan Safe system, review parking and transportation safety, and understand campus emergency notifications. The second program includes SJSU's Run, Hide, Fight training, which focuses on building situational awareness, quickly assessing threats, planning safe evacuations, and communicating effectively during emergencies so students can respond confidently in critical situations.
