About this Event
The Digital Asset PARITY Act proposed by Congressmen Miller and Horsford includes significant tax changes, several of which are also in Senator Lummis' S. 2207. This SJSU High Technology Tax Institute webinar will explain the proposed tax changes, why they are suggested, and what the current tax treatment is. The prospects for enactment and some of the issues raised by commentators will also be addressed. This topic is a prelude to topics that will be addressed at the 4th Annual SJSU Blockchain Tax Conference on January 29, 2027.
This is a free webinar and California attorneys and CPAs, as well as Enrolled Agents can earn one hour of continuing education credit (polling prompts must be clicked to earn credit). Our application for renewal of our MCLE Multiple Activity Provider status is pending approval.
