 significant time and effort. Recent advances in AI provide new opportuniti
 es to streamline these tasks\, allowing faculty to devote more time to tea
 ching\, mentoring\, and student learning.\n\nSound familiar?\n\nCreating q
 uizzes and exams every semester takes too much time.I wish I could provide
  more individualized support to my students.Creating engaging lecture slid
 es and teaching materials is time-consuming.I have ideas for interactive l
 earning experiences\, but I don’t know how to build them.I’m answering
  the same student questions over and over.This workshop explores practical
  ways ChatGPT and Codex can support the teaching workflow\, from developin
 g instructional materials and designing assessments to supporting students
  and creating interactive learning experiences.\n\nParticipants will learn
  how to:\n\nDesign engaging teaching materials more efficiently.Develop as
 sessments by generating question banks\, creating multiple versions of qui
 zzes and exams\, and preparing assessments for Canvas.Build AI-powered stu
 dy guides\, quiz assistants\, and course-specific GPTs using their own cou
 rse materials.Create AI assistants that answer frequently asked questions 
 based on course syllabi and policies.Build interactive course websites\, s
 tudy guides\, dashboards\, and educational applications using Codex—with
 out extensive programming experience.Our goal is to focus on practical\, t
 ransferable examples that faculty can immediately adapt to their own teach
 ing\, regardless of discipline or previous AI experience.\n\nSpend less ti
 me on repetitive tasks and more time designing meaningful learning experie
 nces for your students.
