Associate Professor of Rhetoric and Composition from Santa Clara University, Dr. Cruz Medina will explain how telling the stories of his family helped reveal his passion for and commitment to social justice. Practicing testimonio brought to light issues within his own community while also helping him build community across his academic profession. Cruz will show examples of testimonio that inspired him, inviting attendees to consider their individual experiences.
