The Mini Free Farmer's Market: Fresh, Local, & Free!

Join us for a celebration of fresh, healthy food at SJSU’s Free Mini Farmer's Market! We're bringing the farm to you with a variety of seasonal produce, all absolutely free for students! Discover the deliciousness of local fruits and vegetables and learn how to incorporate them into your daily meals.

What to Expect:

  • Free Produce: Take home a selection of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables at no cost. We're committed to providing access to healthy food for all students. Note: Guests are limited to one grocery bag per person; a grocery bag will be provided to each student for free at the beginning of the event.
  • Resource Fair: Explore a variety of on-campus and off-campus resources related to food, nutrition, and wellness. Learn about healthy eating tips, food assistance programs, community resources, and more. Representatives from various organizations will be on hand to answer your questions.
  • Recipe Samples: Taste delicious samples of easy-to-make recipes featuring the produce available at the market. Get inspired and discover new ways to enjoy your fresh finds!
  • Live Cooking Demo: Watch a live cooking demonstration showcasing quick, affordable, and healthy meals you can prepare using the free produce. Learn valuable cooking techniques and get tips from our expert chef.
