All students, faculty and staff are invited to a series of community engagement meetings the University Police Department (UPD) this fall. These meetings are a key part of ongoing efforts to build strong, transparent, and collaborative relationships between the SJSU campus community and our public safety staff. Attendance is open to all and advanced registration is not necessary.

Purpose of the Meetings

  • Engage with students, staff, and faculty in open dialogue
  • Provide insight into current police initiatives, priorities, and operations
  • Bridge the gap between the community and law enforcement
